Profile - Jamie Cox
Jamie has worked as a software developer, manager and mentor for over 10 years. Having gained a degree in Business Information Systems, he got his first job working for a software company specialising in web-based applications for the health industry.
Within 2 years he had risen to Technical Director, won a prestigious industry award for software excellence and had built many other successful applications. Jamie has since worked on many large projects for well known clients such as Experian, Thales, Telegraph Media Group, Hewlett Packard, BT and Ernst & Young both in an independent capacity and as an employee.
As well as continually building his technical skills through hands-on development he has also managed large teams of developers, including offshore developers, established mentoring programs for technical staff and has introduced many improvements to the software development lifecycle within organisations.
In 2007 Jamie founded Teksidia to provide specialist software analysis and development services.
